A surge contains the text "the target of your spell," but the spell was not a single-target spell. What happens?
- Multi-Target Spells: The surge affects the first target affected by the spell.
- Range of Self Spells: The target is yourself.
- Summoning Spells: The target is the creature you summon.
- AoE Spells: The target is the first creature encountered from the spell's point of origin. If no creature exists, the point of origin itself is considered the target.
